This standard business terms are for non warranty repairs and warranty repairs, which are perfomed by SCB by order of industry or vendor.

Ordering

Ordering can be entered personally or by all known media.

Cost estimate

Cost estimates are working hours and therefore liable with costs. Will with a repair, with the one cost estimate confirmed during the repair progress if further lack were determined, SCB is to be provided entitled a new cost estimate.

During a repair or with the development of a cost estimate if the inefficiency is determined, or rejected a cost estimate by the customer, or the repair is not feasible, (e.g. printed circuit board break, spare part no longer available, moisture damage), SCB is not obligated to shift that equipment into the origin condition back

Please consider that for a repair pricing the error tracing does not only have to be accomplished just as carefully as a "”genuine repair” in addition, is necessary a larger expenditure for the administration and the careful temporary storage facilities of the equipment.

For these reasons we raise the following test lump sums:

These test lump sums are computed only with a not terminated repair. If it comes to a repair, then this is part of the repair and comes thus not to carries. Execution of the repairs are accomplished in own workshop. If a repair is not possible by SCB, we lead the equipment when desired and debited to the customer to an authorized workshop further. Repair dates can change.

Payment

In general, payment has to be done at delivery of the repaired set. If it is not possible, the invoice can be paid by prepayment or bank transfer.
This decision will be made by SCB.

Delivery and storage

After finishing the repair, the customer will be informed. The repaired set has to be picked up within 2 weeks.
Not picked up repaired sets will be scrapped canonically after 3 months.
The incurred costs will be charged to the customer.

Repair warranty and liability by SCB

SCB grant 12 months warranty of the repair. This applies only for the real perfomed repair activities
For the used material SCB assumes the warranty time of the manufacturer / supplier.

If a repair is claimed, consumers have a right of amendment. Under these conditions we decline a warrentyrepair:
faulty handling, setting up and connecting of the appliance. Transportdamage, High Voltage Damage, damage due tot damp, fogging, changing of systemconfiguration and instaling/changing of software.
Damage or changed properties, which were caused by connecting foreign elements. SCB is not responsible for properties, which is discribed with the technical spezification by the producer.
Is an appliance be damage by SCB, SCB will repair this damage for free. In case of an impossible repair or an uneconomic repair, the present value of the appliance will be replaced.
SCB is not liable for data loss due a repair. It is consumers responsibility to save data befor sending an appliance to SCB.

Privacy and jurisdiction

Personal data of warrentyrepair will be send to producer on demand if it is a fuction of its warrenty adjustment. Jurisdiction is Rostock.
